I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s had a project sitting in her (or his) Ravelry queue FOREVER while waiting for the perfect yarn to come along. I’d been meaning to start the Lost in Time shawl by Johanna Lindahl and now I finally have with Scheepjes Whirl in Salted Caramel Matcha. It’s such fun to work with - watching the colours change ever so slowly, and not having to worry about joins in the yarn, as they’re just tiny fluffy bits that can be easily hidden. And it’s so soft! The cotton acrylic blend is like butter; rich, easy on the hands, and wonderfully smooth. Then there’s the fact that one cake is enough - 1000 meters in this thing assures a “one ball project.” Good. I absolutely hate weaving in ends!!!!
